Project settings

Project settings let you configure how your project works and how it looks for participants. You can set the project name, who can join, how modules are unlocked, the look of the start page and module headers, and which emails are sent.

In the editor, open the Settings option from the menu. The project settings window opens with a list of options. Use the back arrow to return to the list from any sub-screen.

  • Project name – The name participants see for the project. You can also set a short name (for example for certificates or lists).
  • Enrollment – Choose whether only invited people can join, or whether anyone with the signup link can enroll. If you allow enrollment on demand, you get a link to share; participants can join without a prior invitation.
  • Project sequence – Control whether participants must go through modules in order or can open any module at once. You can also turn on “Skip start page” so participants go straight to the modules, and “Show completion progress” so they see their progress.
  • Project status – Mark the project as active or archived. Archived projects are hidden from default lists but keep all data. From here you can also delete the project (after confirming).
  • Project template – Allow others to create new projects from this one as a starting point. You can list it as a public template so everyone in your organization can see it, or keep it for yourself.
  • Emails & notifications – Open the screen where you configure which emails are sent (reminders, invitations, etc.) and how they look.
  • Module header – Set the background (image or gradient) and text colour for each module’s header.
  • Start / intro view – Set the background and text for the project start (intro) screen that participants see before they open modules.
  • Support email – The address that appears when participants have questions about the content.
  • Email templates – For each type of email (e.g. inactivity reminders, invitations, login reminders), you can turn it on or off and edit the subject, title, and text. If you edit a template, it is saved as your custom version; you don’t need a separate “use custom” switch.
  • Enrollment on demand requires “Unlock all modules” to be on. If you turn on enrollment on demand, you can choose to unlock modules in the same step.
  • Show completion progress only works when modules are locked (participants go through them in order). If you turn on progress, modules will be locked if needed.
  • Skip start page is only available when modules are unlocked. If you turn it on, modules will be unlocked if needed.
  • You cannot delete a project that is set as a template. Disable “Project template” in Project status first, then delete.
